How does it works? Different insects are attracted to specific colours due to their visual sensitivity, feeding behaviors, or host-seeking instincts. Our sticky traps are strategically coloured to target most indoor ornamental plants while remaining safe for your plants and the environment. This is a great preventive measure along side your regular beauty treatments. It works 24/7 and it is hassle free!

Pro tip! If you have clusters of plants, place one sticker of each colour to have maximum protection. Spread them so they can attrack these insects from different angles and from different kinds.

We made our packaging as educational as it can be, to help you have knowledge anytime you need! Keep the packaging for future reference!

  • Yellow: They are effective because many plant feed on insects (phytophagous insects), are naturally drawn to yellow, as it mimics the colour of flowers or foliage. These insects rely on visual cues to locate food sources, and yellow stands out as a colour associated with nectar, pollen, and other feeding opportunities.

Yellow will attrack: Aphids (Aphis spp.), Myzus persicae, Aphis fabae, Aphis gossypii, Aphis nerii, Macrosiphum euphorbiae, White Flies, Trialeurodes vaporariorum, Bemisia tabaci, Trialeurodes abutiloneus, Fungus Gnats, Sciaridae orfelia spp., Myceto philidae, Lycoriella spp., Leaf-Hoppers.

Blue: They are highly effective for monitoring and controlling thrips populations because they are sensitive to the blue spectrum of light. Thrips vision is adapted to detecting shorter wave lengths, and blue is more visible to them in the environment. It mimics certain host plants that reflect more blue light.

Blue will attrack: Echinothrips americanus, Frankliniella occidentalis, Thrips tabaci, Heliothrips haemorrhoidalis and Scirtothrips dorsalis.

Black: They are effective in attracting insects that are drawn to dark or shaded environments, especially those that burry on the soil or that seek blood meals (like mosquitoes). These insects often use colour contrasts when searching for hosts or resting sites. Black also absorbs heat, which can mimic the warmth of a host.

Black will attrack: Fungus Gnats, Sciaridae, Orfelia spp., Drosophilidae, Ephydridae, Phoridae, Aleyrodidae, Mycetophilidae, Lycoriella spp.
