JANUARY
MANAGING PLANT INSECTS SUSTAINABLY
We are not alone! Learn how to identify, diagnose, and manage the most common plant insects — mealybugs, spider mites, thrips, armored scales, and aphids. This workshop will teach you how to recognize early signs and symptoms of infestations, understand the life cycles of these unwanted visitors, and apply effective treatment and prevention methods sustainably without harming other ecosystems. Through practical techniques and science-based knowledge, you’ll gain the confidence to keep your plants healthy and bug-free.

FEBRUARY
CLAY, PLANTS & CREATIVITY
From Earth to Art! Learn all about this remarkable natural material — its role in ecosystems and its influence on our daily lives. Explore the structure and chemical importance of clay in plant health and soil cohesion. During this workshop, you’ll discover how to identify and extract clay from nature, understand the different types found in the wild and prepare it for use. Then, get hands-on as you shape your own clay pot, connecting creativity with sustainability.
Each participant will take home a plant to debut in their handcrafted pot —

MARCH
SOILS, PLANTS & CO
No soil, no plants! Talking about plants without understanding the science of soil is a wasted effort — soil is truly the secret sauce behind every healthy plant. In this workshop, you’ll learn to identify different soil types and explore the relationship between their biological, chemical, and structural properties, discovering how these elements work together to sustain plant growth. Combining theory with hands-on practice, we’ll examine how to select the best raw materials and create customized soil recipes for specific plant species. Soil is the foundation of all life and we are part os this ecosystem.
